While watching the Vancouver Olympics this year, did you wonder which American colleges hailed the most Olympians? In an article published on February 26, The Wall Street Journal identifies the leading colleges worldwide. On the list, several US schools in the top twenty including University of Minnesota, Westminster College, University of Wisconsin, Dartmouth College, University of Utah, University of Michigan, Colorado Mountain College, Harvard University, and Ohio State University. One of our New England representatives is a perennial skiing powerhouse. As the authors note, “Dartmouth, whose century old ski program is believed to be the first of its kind, is well represented, as always. The Big Green has at least nine Olympians, including Tucker Murphy, Bermuda’s flag bearer.” To all of our Olympic student athletes near and far, we salute you for your determination, sportsmanship, focus and accomplishments. You made us proud.
