Free FASFA Advice: Connecticut Families

As a reminder to families who attended last week’s DEC NETWORK community seminar on Smart $trategies for the College Bound, Connecticut College Goal Sunday is scheduled for tomorrow, January 31, 2010 from 1:30 to 4:30 PM. This excellent program is a free service for prospective college students who need help completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Experts will also be on hand to answer your questions regarding all available state and federal financial aid programs. Choose from several sites across the state including our neighbors, Western Connecticut State University and Norwalk Community College. Don’t let the fear of a college tuition price tag prevent you from seeking the right to higher education. Find out the facts and what $ are available. Over 1,000 families are expected to attend.
