Class of 2011-Scholarship Winner

Aislinn Walsh is the recipient of the 2011 Davis Education & Career Consultants (DEC NETWORK) Scholarship. Awarded to a student who demonstrates academic promise, spirit, leadership and integrity, Aislinn recently graduated from Ridgefield High School with plans to attend the University of Connecticut as a sociology major in the fall. The DEC Network believes strongly in supporting the future education of deserving youth within our community. We do so not only through our annual merit award, but also through local charities and organizations. Over the past few years, the DEC NETWORK has supported a wide range of philanthropies such as the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, Connecticut Special Olympics, Ridgefield’s Boys and Girls Club, Keeler Tavern Museum/Education Program, Visiting Nurse Association, Western Connecticut Youth Orchestra, Girl Scouts of America and A Better Chance (ABC House).
